Campaign Story
 My journey with hope and desire to become a Foster/Adoptive Mom began years ago. What started as a dream has grown into a life full of love, challenges, and incredible joy these last 10 months.
Through fostering, I was given the gift of caring for a beautiful child—and now, after years of waiting, the opportunity to adopt her and make our family forever is closer.Â
While the state thankfully covers some legal fees for court, there will be more  fees with the adoption process and daily responsibilities come with many other costs that fall on me as a single mom. The biggest need is covering daycare and therapy expenses, which together are about $250 per week ($12,000 over the next two years, until she begins kindergarten).
In addition, I often miss work for her appointments, guardian meetings, case worker visits, school, and therapy—all vital steps to ensure her health, happiness, and stability.

Lost income from missed work for court hearings, foster meetings and required appointments.
Every gift, no matter the amount, brings us closer to the finish line of this three-year journey. More than anything, it allows me to continue giving her the love, care, and stability she needs as we prepare to finalize her adoption.

Birthday!
At 45 years young, I willingly chose to be an Adoptive Mom! And I chose to do with God! I chose this role after having a stirring in my heart within me for over 10 years . You see my desire has always been to have a marriage and family. When the marriage didn’t arrive , yes I decided to take matters into my hands with Gods guidance: I prayed, I waited. For years. Until I knew I was more than anything emotionally fit. I didn’t want to wake up 75 and say “why didn’t I”
No one ever feels fully ready for Motherhood. And many have spouses to partner with, But I took this leap of faith and God has orchestrated every detail! Adoption was my desire from day one and we are months away from the final adoption day! Yay! The Adoption Coordinator says any day! As I walk this journey out with my chosen daughter; we have unexpected expenses that have been coming up I was unprepared for. I was told the State funded most of the day care needs. But I was wrong. Yet never have I doubted God to provide. Currently her school Tuition has increased to 1000 per month (preschool). IF you feel it in your heart to GIVE in honor of my 46th Birthday, we would greatly appreciate your generous seed of love! It will be multiplied as I choose to glorify God in this season and in my life and hers.
