 My journey with hope and desire to become an Adoptive Mother began three years ago. What started as a dream has grown into a life full of love, challenges, and incredible joy these last 7 months.

Through fostering, I was given the gift of caring for a beautiful child—and now, after years of waiting, the opportunity to adopt her and make our family forever is finally here. 

While the state thankfully covers some legal fees for court, there will be more  fees with the adoption process and daily responsibilities come with many other costs that fall on me as a single mom. The biggest need is covering daycare and therapy expenses, which together are about $250 per week ($12,000 over the next two years, until she begins kindergarten).

In addition, I often miss work for her appointments, guardian meetings, case worker visits, school, and therapy—all vital steps to ensure her health, happiness, and stability.

Your support would help with:

Daycare tuition ($100/week)
Therapy costs ($150/week)
Lost income from missed work for court hearings, foster meetings and required appointments.

Every gift, no matter the amount, brings us closer to the finish line of this three-year journey. More than anything, it allows me to continue giving her the love, care, and stability she needs as we prepare to finalize her adoption.
